Me and my best friend recently got into a fight thats made us rethink our friendship, and this song exactly matches the situation… :[

I love this song.

Phenomenal song; Pam didn’t become a mega-star, b/c during the tremendous ’90’s there was so much talent and great songs, and the competition was very tough. Its amazing that Pam was probably a mid-range artist then, but the quality of her and her music is better than almost all of the stuff in today’s business… God I miss the late ’80s and early to mid ’90’s…

As Julie Roberts once said “men and mascara always run.”

I love this song, and always wondered why Pam didn’t get to be a superstar. She has a wonderful voice. Jenne61265, God bless you!

I sang this song for karaoke when I was 11! How naive I was! Now that I pay attention to the lyrics, they fit my situation so perfectly! I’m so glad I re-discovered this song. I have been playing it over and over, trying to mend my heart. Thank you, Pam, for singing such a beautiful song that fits my mood perfectly!!!

I can’t believe that I fell for this same old shit at the age of 35. Her song helps my shame, though.

Okay. Pam performed this “live” somewhere on this late night show called “The Road” that was hosted by Levon Helm and Mary Chapin-Carpenter. I have it on VHS but forgot what year.

I have this song on VHS from the CMA but forgot what year, also from a midnight television show. Darn, as soon as I get all my VHS concerts converted to DVD, I’m going to try and post them. I’ve got early to mid 90’s Pam Tillis, Reba, Trisha, Suzy Bogguss, Mary Chapin and Patty Loveless. Love those “Women of Country”

I loved this song when I was little but never knew I would live it out in my own way. *there’s a big difference between lonely and lonely way too long* well I didn’t cheat on any man.. I cheated on my own self. One of those things where you knew better… song true from begining to end. well if anyone out there is feelin me let me know.
One of my fav songs
DarkglowB4U on March 8, 2010 at 3:27 am
well I’m sorry she cheated but I think its more over a woman song. As for the cheating equation of the song.. Ive never cheated but I have cheated on my own heart. You give yourself and your heart to a man who is sh*t in a moment of weakness. well anyhow. God Bless you from this loser
I hope life finds you better these days

God, its amazing how well this song is said. Its exactly what i needed to hear. It was funny too, I was in the car talking to my friend about this guy I had been with, and how I regreted it and she turned the station and all I heard was ‘You fell in a moment of weakness, gotta pick yourself back up” It was…exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks for putting it up!!!
